Pick the freshest seafood, shelfish, meat balls, fish balls, squid, plus others that includes noodles, kang kong vegestable, soup dumpling or fried dumpling, white bean curd, enoki mishroom, abalone mushrooms and bean curd skin of your choice from the display at cylinder BBQ station. Dip in your favorite in hot pot of either chicken soup or tomyam soup ad cooked by aromas of perfectly barbequed choice cuts of beef steak, lamb cutlet or beef churrasco, juicy sausage, yummy BBQ wings and finger-lickin' smoked skewered meats, BBQ seafood be it slipper lobster, large squid, fresh water prawn, yabbies, tiger prawn and flower crabs, too.
From the start of dining, me and hubby simply kick of the appetizer, cold platter and salad bar. There were variety of choices, such as, seafood on ice comprising tiger prawn, yabbies half shell scallop, half shell mussels, cold roasted beef or lamb cold galatine chicken or duck;, or palin salad; Malaysian kerabu, rojak buah, assorted fruit pickled and cocktail pickled with dressing of honey mustard, thousand salad, Cesarean dressing, tartar sauce, pesto, mayonnaise & olive oil. Available on the buffet line is the Cheese board offers assorted cheese that goes with grapes and crackers. The scrumptious buffets offers varieties of local and continental savories to stir the palate. The list includes sushi & sashimi; fresh oyster; satay with condiments; roasted & steamed chicken ; roasted ducks with condiments. Buffets carving station includes roasted whole lamb rack, roast prime rib (beef) & roasted chicken ; roast whole salmon fish; served with sauce of mint, mushroom, black pepper, rosemary, cream white herbs and BBQ. Our chefs have prepared the main dishes to cater to different taste buds such as the braised chicken with oyster sauce. Ma Poh beancord; broccoliwith egg sauce, linguine napolitaine, fish fillet with caper brown butter, buttered vegetables and the Thai corner of Thai sweet & sour fish; Thai Green chicken and Tom Yam seafood; plus the favourite dishes from Tunku's KItchen namely lamb chop with parsley butter, beef kurma, pineapple in curry sauce.
They also served the best soup such as potato & leek soup of fresh tomato soup; chicken ABC soup of chicken with old cucumber soup. For those with a sweet tooth, do check the dessert such as assorted mini French pastry; mango pudding, apple in filo with strawberry coulis; assorted nyonya kuih, agar-agar, chocolate e'clair, cream caramel, mango pudding, assorted mini slice cake apple tum quern, traditional malay kuih , English bread butter pudding and chocolate pudding, cakes and assorted jelly in cup.
